View Full Version : Essential Computer is #1...
Their prices may be higher than other places, but their service #1 in my book, and I've bought from a LOT of joints.
I bought a motherboard at 1:30 PM, and it shipped by 3:00 PM. That's right, the SAME DAY.
I was so appreciative I ordered a new Antec case from them, too...
Buying more AMDs already?

Your going intel right?
It cost that much for a very good reason. Those canterwoods have so much damn technology its crazy. They aren't technoless nforce2 boards.

I use both chips but I have a sweet spot for AMD.:D I love their chips. I may get an Intel again in the future. Just have to see where they go and what issues they address.;)

They aren't really going anywhere. Even they claim to be "the cheaper alternative"
I meant Intel. Shag why you so hard on AMD? What happened?
Yes! I've bought quite a bit from them and no problems yet....save one delivery had a cigarette butt in it. Who knows when or how that happened. Might not have even happened at their joint.

I've used them a lot, for quite some time. Only one state away for me, so local UPS ground shipping often gets it to me the next day. I think they're prices are great. I use them for more average products that don't need much support, software, basic hardware, etc.
Support wise, I even love GamePC better. But they're on the west coast, so takes a while to get to me, prices are often higher, but from my experience with their support...well worth it for higher end stuff that may require support or any chance of a return..such as mobo's, etc.

AMD does not make mobos..
and I think the only chipsets they make anymore is for Dualies..
MPX760 if I'm not mistaken..
I've used Essential before myself. No compliants from me. Took the same amount of time as newegg to get my stuff here. I think I found them on Pricegrabber when I bought XP. Their price was $75.00 for an OEM.
