Messenger Service?

I keep getting random pop-ups with "Messenger Service" on the title bar. It's mostly crap about working from home, losing weight or (lmao) elimianting pop-ups.

I thought this was maybe from Kazaa-Lite. But I have reformatted and installed an old image from BEFORE I had KazaaLite and I'm still getting it.

Is it part of MSN Messenger perhaps?? I'm baffled as to what could be causing this. I've run ad-aware and everything is clean.

put firewall up or disable messenger.. there are simple ways to do that but I forgot..

Start > Run > Services.msc

Disable "Messenger Service".

I only have "Messenger" but not "messenger Service"

I went into "properties" and under "start-up properties" I disabled it. Hopefully that will work.
