after using up a 30 day trial dont tell me just at least tell me is this agrement in the endusers license agreement witch makes it legal for the software to keep traces of this 30 day trial as used up even after trying to remove all traces. being somewhat clever in knowing the assciated left over files not removed in registry or even folders left over on hard drive C:
That's what a 30 day trial is, 30 days to try it. If you like it you should buy it, and help out the programmer(s) who took a lot of time and effort to make it for you.
SpeedGuide is not a site for cracking built in security for trial programs, sorry. There are enough sites around helping people steal software and income from programmers, and SpeedGuide isn't one of them, and never will be..
Please don't ask again.
I may have misunderstood you, sorry. These trials do leave things even after an uninstall to protect their interests, and most likely it is in the agreement.
If not hey, it should be.
Yes, it's legal for them to leave registry keys behind to prevent people from repeatedly re-installing the program; the whole purpose of shareware is to let you "try before you buy." If you like the program and find it useful, you should buy it.
Like Norm said, it's likely stated in their licensing agreement that appears when you first install the program. That's why you gotta read those things and not just click past them. :D
