How can I tell how much resources a specific program is using, or get a listing of everything running in my computer along with the resources it uses?
Thanks

Press the buttons (all at the same time)

This will bring up the task manager.

This will bring up the task manager. Does that go for WinME as well Doc?
I know it works in 2k and XP. I never tried it in ME to know. Hope so, nice tidbit.
Doesn't work in 98 though. I always go into system info and then close a program, refresh system info, and then use the difference to calculate what resources were being used by that particular program.

Windows 98/ME will show you a list of what is running not what resources each is using when Ctrl alt del is pressed.
There is also the resource meter in 98, but I don't believe it gets installed in a default install. You can however add it later through add/remove software>windows setup tab.
It won't show what programs use what resources, but the close program subtract the difference trick works.
