Colt Redhawk .44, Aimpoint laser dot scope. No magnification, just a red dot. I run 195 grain semi-jacketed hollow-points thru it. Effective comes to mind, as does loud. Silky smooth, and not too much kick, wicked accurate for a pistol. Dang expensive toy tho, shells are outrageous to make, even worse to buy.
