does any one know how to access the xp fire wall? Or any way to turn the crap off? i have a fire wall in my router and dont need the xp one. Its just messin wit my crap. It blocks me from **** bieng transferd on my comp

Go to control panel>Network connection>advanced tab. You can turn the firewall on and off there. :)

i dont see the advanced tab where is it

Control panel - network connections - LAN connection - right click properties - advanced tab.

im not seeing lan connection is it called some thing els? i got Internet connection, Local Area connection 2 wan network driver, Network bridge, Local Area Connection 3 Linskys ......

LAN stands for Local Area Network (connection), so you have it. Just right click over your Local Area Connection and open up Properties and then advanced tab and you will see a check box to turn your firewall on or off. :)

he he he oh my.....I right clicked on all of them and there is not an advanced tab in any of them...just authentication and general...and in all of them i dont see any thing to do with a fire wall...is it possible my xp dosent have a fire wall?
