help with hub

Can someone tell me how to hook up my two computer togather with a 5 port hub. I have windows xp it is the host and it has the cable modem hooked to it and i want to file share and print share only with my other computer which is windows 98. I do not want to internet them at all jut sharing.:rolleyes:
