i can't stand them. They kick you out of servers for the stupidest reasons. Base camping, and not attacking them. I think there is no problem in camping, all it is is a strategy to win. and i can't stand them saying NEWBIE or N00B anymore!!! their the real newbies if they can't hit a stationary target, camping.

I've said this before in another thread, but I hate the ones on the Battlefield 1942 servers that bitch about uneven teams.

I've never heard of a war or battle that was actually even on both sides.. Thats the nature of battle.. one side usually has to defy the odds in order to be successful. Can't stand those whiners.

Uneven team bitchin'?.....Koldchillah iz right, people want so called true "realism" in war game'z but really don't realize what the term "realism" stands for. I actually saw a 5 member German clan kick the crap out of a 10 mixed member/players. Would someone actually bitch about uneven team if the there was a mod for BF1942 where I'm alone on allied side in a B-52 Strato Fortress config'd to carry a loadout of 10 nukes against my opponents on the axis side and just bomb the hell out of 'em? Would that be uneven? NO, because you can respawn - real life (realism) there is no such thing......All in all it's a strategy game, you find that your opponent(s) are playing one way and you counter-stike that move i.e. STRATEGY.

Hate whiners..yes, but also hate the ones who sit at spawn locations and camp...IE tank sitting there right where peeps spawn, etc. That's just an old cheap practice that goes back to the Quake 1 days even earlier...stand behind a spawn pad and blast peeps as they spawn. CHEAP! "Well, pick another spawn spot" you say? Well...some levels, when you're that outnumbered and losing..you don't have a choice of spawn spots.

Teams, well, depends..but some levels of some games (such as BF1942)....it's discouraging to have such uneven teams. Nothing like having 4 guys on the allies, 14 guys on the Japanese teams, you spawn on the carrier on Coral Sea...and can't do a thing because the carrier us under a mass swarm attack. You plain just don't have any chance. Yet on other levels, some landbase levels...where you get a chance to live..it's fun playing against higher numbers. Iwo Jima or Wake levels are a blast that way.

I'm going with YOSC on this. First of all, this is a game and not real life. It's not a simulation... teams should be even. If they are uneven, it usually just gets worse and worse. If it is by a couple players, no biggie. But when it is 4 vs. 12, that is a little too much one sided.

As far as spawn campers, those people have no skill. If the only way you can score is by sitting in a tank in the enemies hanger so your tank doesn't die and kill people... you need to get a life. I always assumed those were 10 year old boys that have no clue. I am proven wrong.

Get some skill and go kill people and cap points like a man. Jeesh.

Only time I don't mind camping is during a match. When your playing in a pub, and somebody is camping, it's pointless, there is not need, I don't care if you have 1 health. It just wastes time for everyone else (Counter-Strike). I always vote kick the person if the server allows it, which lots don't. I think vote kick should be built into every server, if there isn't an admin and somebody is TK'n, cheating, camping, wont shut his/her mouth, there has to be an option to kick their asses out. I don't mind uneven teams, because I only play CS, and 90% of the time in pubs people hardly know how to plant... so it doesn't really matter...

Eh... I guess I was talking about SOLEY spawn camping. Camping on a hill as a sniper or something is totally different. I hope I didn't come off as anti-sniper camping.

Also... another thing I HATE with a passion is on BF1942 when you kill someone, it shows them where you are. That is TOTALLY lame. If you have a great sniper spot, it is given away right then. That is crap.

some servers don't let u see it..... I've been onto many servers that don't let u see it.. once u die.. I go to some far off places....

To me camping is spawn camping. The term camping came out years ago as those who stand right behind spawn pads....blast players with a rock or shotty the second they appear...when still in that brief 1second of limbo.

Example...Coral Sea...land on the US carrier...run to the back of the flight deck, shoot peeps in the back as they spawn...that's camping.

Finding a sweet building top, or hilltop, or a shrub to hide in...and snipe away (as long as you're not covering some spawn spot up close)....that's totally cool.....nothing to do with camping.

I get it in CS all the time. Basically everytime i play. I join a server and pray i dont get banned. just because i get 4 headshots in a row they think im cheating. I mean i can see why they think im cheating because i know how to take advantage of the rifles bullets going through walls but... the people that have scores of 30-60 and do nothing but say "HACKER! HACKER!" gets annoying.

It's wierd, everytime one of my teammates pad or hanger camps for a long time a plane always seems to crash into them...wierd I tell ya...

Im pretty much burn out on the game...I thought about getting my own server but id be a total ass as a admin..

Plane camp = band

pad camp = band

Hanger camp = band

Drive off leaving teammates needing a lift = band

Expack to the top of buildings = band

Expack over the wall at Omaha = band

Take a vehicle to planes = band

Camping just outside flag to gain kills -w- no attempt to cap flag = band

see what I mean........:o

I get a lot of whiners. If the game has a weapon with a scope im all over it. I primarily play MOHAA and people bitch when I snipe them in the head. Its part of the game so shut the hell up. Im not bitching about bazookas even though I think they are dumb as hell and for suckers!

I noticed that when i first started playing online games - waaay back when.

But today I don't even look at what people are typing. I really could care less. Even people in my clan say "hey I was talking to you in that game and you didn't reply".

As for being kicked - If all you are going to do is camp then I'd kick you too. If you use it only when nessessary then fine. eg. your' the last person left on your team. Other then that I came to play not watch someone crouching in a corner, not doing his job.

They use the xpacks to blow themselfs onto the roof of buildings or over a building to the next block...While it's a just glitch caused by FF being off it's still lame....
