i have a linksysbrf41 etc and a speedstream, 4 port switch router,

the speedstream works the best for me, anyway my question is, and i have tried this but with no luck so far is to hook a router up and then uplink my other router thru it, then to my comp, thus giving me 2 nat firewalls of protection,, can this be done??

Yes, I do that all the time in my office....when building servers...that way I separate the networks so no domain cross, and I keep the anti-virus domain consoles separate when installing/configuring them.

The inside router...simply have the WAN port use pure ethernet for it's setup...not PPPoE, just dynamic obtain IP.

The computer inside the inner router will access the internet fine.

You may also need a crossover cable depending on how the ports are wired out. Pick one up from any computer store.

hey guys i looked around and saw, another member with the same question as mine so i just ran a cable off the lan port into the uplink on the 2nd router, and then hooked my comp into a lan port there, and it never missed a beat,

i am assuming that its pretty secure now? lo lor should i run a couple of more firewalls behind that???
