Somone is pinging/scanning you/ip/ports. Your firewall is doing it's job. Don't worry just yet...it is when you have unknown traffic leaving your machine that signifies a bigger problem......

What firewall are you using?

You could try to get his info from the logs and lodge a complaint against him through his ISP and your ISP but if he is from a foreign address...then it may be pointless.

Are you sure this traffic isn't coming from a site that you have visited?

All you can do is just keep things secure and don't let him in. 9 attempts seems pretty trivial...if he was really trying to port scan you or pingflood you, you'd see hundreds if not thousands of ping requests.

Just a suggestion.....drop Kerio and goto Sygate.

Kerio is the remnants of Tiny Personal Firewall...and it required you to have a good working knowledge of rulesets.

Sygate, imho, is the best freeware firewall out there and it has virtually no footprint and no impact on performance. I really like it as do alot of others here on SG.....mnosteele52 turned me onto it.;)
