Hey i'm new to ADSL and I was trying to set up my fserve on IRC and for some reason I can't i'm not quite sure why it's not working. I've tried several things seing if the firewall for win xp pro was up seeing if any ports were blocked by my isp (which it isn't) i now have a High-Speed Connection Manager under Broadband im not quite sure on how to enable anyone to access my computer through ftp or IRC Fserve i've tried all the things i usually tried with cable to get it working but as i said im not to sure on how to do it with adsl if anyone has any ideas please post

Oh yeah btw it says

Broadband
connected
WAN miniport (PPPOE)

can u start advertise ?
"File server started,Trigger1=!i0wnj00,total transfered=400gb,current transfer=300kb/s" and so on
try disable firewall, make sure your dcc, ctcp trigger r set correctly.
and also r00t to your hdd. Then start the server. It should work ...after that turn on firewall and open ports.(windows xp firewall never worked for file transfers on irc)

yes i know all about the firewall for win xp and stuff for invision and i can advertise but what is happening is it's using my Lan ip address (for the ethernet card) as opposed to my WAN IP address (dsl) so people cannot connect to my fserve so is there a way to make it so the WAN IP address is the default address or make it so you can get around it somehow (maybe a win xp tweak or something) and all my ctcp and dcc settings are correct

did u try in invisio settings:
connect/local info/ip address/on connect always get ip address ?

there must be some setting for this,im not using invisio anymore only mirc so if ull be not able find it there try invisio scripts.
