e-mail problem. How can this happens

Someone use my yahoo mail sends e-mail to my hotmail account without login to my yahoo account. How come this happened? In my hotmail account, my keep receiving mails from my yahoo mail. Is there anyway I can stop it?

With certain email programs such as outlook express you can change the listed email sent with the message... So in other words someone could send an email saying it was from 1@2.com when it is acctually 2@1.com who is sending it.

Probably just some prank... You may want to consider keeping secret info out of that account though.. just incase someone got your password.. wich is doubtful unless you gave it away.

What kind of emails are being sent anyhow?

Try changing your yahoo login password.

And in your Hotmail account, block sender.

The e-mails are all ads. I have changed my yahoo password couple times. There is no way I can change my user name. The only way I can do is block myself.
