Opera 7.0 ...question

Never used opera before and was wondering how reliable and if it is better then IE6.0 on an XP system?

I won't say it is better..

I will say that it is different. It is very fast. It has many features and it is free.

The biggest reason that people use either Opera or Mozilla (which I highly recomend) is tabbed browsing .

This gives you the ability to have multiple websites/pages up at the same time.

It is a very very very useful feature.

There is a learning curve to using these browsers but it is not a steep one. Once you get them configured properly....they fly.

I have been going back and forth between phoenix (which is based off mozilla and lighter just a web browser) and opera

At first I liked opera better, but now have run itno some issues, so for the most part been sticking with phoenix

When the day MS IE comes out with a pop up stopper, and browsed tabbing is when I go back to IE.
