Im using shaw, and they have supposed caps at 3000/300 (i think) mnosteele can correct me on this .if i am wrong ..
BUT:

I have just averaged 5 tests with the folowing score:

2003-01-24 Average: 4382 / 348
Your download speed : 4382642 bps, or 4382 kbps.
A 534.9 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 448 kbps
Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

so, Is 4382/448 better than caps?

As far as I remember, Shaw's downstream is a bit higher than 3000Kbps. They used to be uncapped, so im not sure.
