Nero Burning Speed

Im running v55917 and my concern is how come I cannot select lower speed. I know it detects my media speed, but it would not let start at lower speed like 1x, 2x, etc. In general, how come it doens't let me pick any speed, as long that it's equal or lower than the speed my media is capable of.

Strange, it should let you burn it at anyspeed you like. Mine does..

When you try to burn an image with a CUE file and the window pops up, what is shown in the Write Speed window? Or is there no window?

When I make a vcd...my media is capable up to 40x, but nero only allow me to burn at 8x, 12x, 16, and so on. I want the lower speed because sometimes I need the quality.

Okay - I shall rephrase it - if I open up Nero and click on the VCD icon a set of tabs pops up after a few seconds - when I click on the Burn tab - I get of window where a choice of speeds is an option. What happens when you click on the Burn tab.

it's version 55917 the latest I think. When I clik on burn tap, I get everything, but the speed selection, especially 1x, 2x, 4x, is missing.

I understand now - that is the version of Nero
Thought it was your burner. :-(

Maybe if you told us what kind of burner you have, someone here might know more about it. 40X seems pretty good compared to my 8X
