i'm sorry if it had been ask before.
i'd a laptop running win xp home sp1, can somebody tell or show me a link step by step how to make setting to my baby that could get into my office network.

It depends on what type of connection is available to you, and what are the office’s network parameters to be able to access after physical connection.
You have to be more specific in your description.
Your first step is probably the office Network guy.

i think its just like the small office and home network setting. it should not be too much advance just i am not too skillful in computering.

all of our office computer are connected through a hub.

From hardware point of view you need to buy Ethernet PCMCIA card and a CAT5 cable.
You configure the Card on your Laptop, and connect to the Hub.
However configuring the card depends on the office network parameters.
Assuming that your office network runs on Windows.
1. What protocols are used?
2. How sharing is done?
3. How IP are given?
4. Is there a login name and Password?
You can not configure your Laptop correctly unless you know all of this info.

thanks for reply.
just get it done this afternoon by using the user name and password to create a new user in window xp and follow the set up network box instruction.
