S L O W K6-2 500

I'm running Electron Microscope and checking my boxen over the network

my AXP1700 is working on P621 - 1:42min/frame
my Celeron 950 is working on P212 - 6:25min/frame
my K6-2 500 is working on P207 - 3:42:34/frame :eek:
my Celeron 400 is working on P211 - 14:30min/frame



according to EM the K6-2 500 should already have completed that frame...


what gives

I already deleted the last WU the comp was working on..but this unit is doing the same thing...
I deleted F@H3 on that comp and will reinstall that might help..

any other ideas
I will post back later on tonite if that fixed/fixes it..

well it's doing it again...

working on P187 - 2:58min/frame

it's been past 3min and it hasn't completed 1 frame yet..

is it the first frame since you started teh EM? The Electron Microscope needs to complete the tracking of at least one frame to have a reference. The 2:58 was probably just an estimate based on somethin' else.

I've always waited till at least 2 frames were completed. At first, like BaLa said, it makes a very rough estimate, the 1st frame completed gives a little closer estimate, and by the time the 2nd frame is complete it should be extremely close.

Now the next time you catch the same protein on that computer EMIII should be real close on the rough estimate.

well I guess the reinstall fixed it..

but F@H was STUCK and it didn't move at all overnight almost..


oddly enough the K6-2 500 is slower than the Celeron 400 overall..
oh well at least it's crunching data.. :D
