Hey you photo gurus

My digicam takes pics that fit my screen (1024x768) and saves it. What's the best size to resize it so i can post it? 1024x768 is one helluva large pic to post. I took pics of the nebulous cube but don't want to post such large pics.

Here is another trick I use when posting pics in here. Under FILE you can go to SAVE FOR THE WEB and it will bring up a window for you to save it in different sizes ... file sizes that is. On the right side you will see a fold down menu ... I use jpeg. You can save it in low, medium or high and you can actually see the difference as you do it. If you look down in the lower left corner of the actual picture ... you will see the file size and approximate download time.

I use this so people who still have 56K connections can see the pictures without having to wait an enternity for them to load.
