Pics of an old house

We went for a drive the other day and came across this old house. Thought the house was kinda cool, looks like the trees are holding the house up, literally. If the trees come down the house will be a pile of rubble.

We have seen a old house something like that in Huron Ohio, it is still standing after all these years.......The house I mentioned is also surrounded by trees

Makes you wonder about modern construction...;)

Don't them old places invoke a great curiosity?

Can you imagine the pride in the first family to live in it? The hopes and dreams?

Did they succeed and only moved to a better home?

Did the great depression overcome them?

Notice how close them trees were planted? Way too close to the house but I'm also curious as to if that was to give the landowner more room for crops?

The place looks like an island in a sea of white...

I thought it looked like a face too . I'm sure there are many stories, I wish I new them.

The house looks like it's owned by a farmer that lives across the road.
