Mini DV tape quality recommendations ?

What brand of tapes has everyone had good or bad experience with for their Mini DV camcorders ? One of the "experts" at Best Buy said TDK are junk, don't use 'em, and recommended not using an additional brand. I can't recall which it was.

Which brand has worked the best (quality wise) with you folks ?

I personally like sony myself. Ive used JVC but had problems with dropout on them.
some of the cheaper tapes have been known to cause problems with cameras, sort of 'contaminating' the head and requireing a cleaning.

TDK, Mastu****a, Fuji and Sony are using pretty much the same process in tape manufacturing. I do know that Sony has been pushing its tape hard on retailers. I have yet to see a discernable difference between TDK or Sony.
