I usually(for the last 3 years) only get 1.30-1.35 Mbps when downloading from my Isp's news servers. But the last couple of days i have been at 1.65 Mbps. Dont know what happened but i like it :)

It appears (from other boards and discussions) that Comcast has raised the downstream cap to 1800 pretty much across the board on the old ATTBI system.

I can not find respectively thread from last week

similar to you one had CAPS raised by ISP
asked for tweaking new CAPS
during "tweaking sesion" on forum...
after call - ISP change him 2years old modem to new one
:2cool: his speed tests results were much better with new one.
:D so if you have an 3years old modem...
& your ISP raised your CAPS...
